Holiday Apartment in Waase with Furnished Terrace

The comfortable holiday apartment is just 400 metres from the beach (Bodden) in Waase, on the island of Ummanz.

The big ground-floor apartment of around 70m² provides ample space for two to six people. It was renovated in 2011 and furnished with solid wood furniture and high-quality, genuine leather sofas. It is a generously furnished three-room apartment in a colonial style. The living room provides an HD TV and a cosy sitting corner with a sofa bed (182 x 133cm), as well as a separate dining space. Free wireless Internet access is available. The integrated kitchen unit, new in October 2017, is fully-equipped, including a dishwasher, microwave, ceramic hob, coffee machine, pads coffee machine, kettle, toaster and stove etc. The first bedroom has a big double bed, while the second has a box spring bed (160 x 200 cm, new April 2019) for a good night’s sleep. The bathroom is fitted with a glass shower cubicle, a washbasin, a toilet and a hairdryer, as well as a washing machine. Laundry can be dried on the clothes horse on the terrace.

The big, furnished terrace provides a dining table, chairs, loungers and even an awning for shade, everything you need for relaxing summer days.

Since January 9th, 20 you have had access to 25 gigabytes of Internet (VDSL 25). Use of the Internet is free of charge.

The island of Ummanz is in the middle of the Vorpommersche Boddenlanschaft National Park. The island has been connected to Rügen by a long bridge since 1901, therefore this holiday residence is only about 35m² from the Hanseatic town of Stralsund and 20km from Bergen, the island capital of Rügen. The island of Ummanz is an ideal starting point for exploring the islands of Rügen and Hiddensee.

This is the right place for those who enjoy peace and quiet and nature, away from hustle and bustle. Even so, many activities are available in the area: surfing, riding, pedalos, fishing, cycle tours (local hire), swimming and fun in the water on the natural beach at Suhrendorf, or at the bodden swimming area with a little beach at Waase. Rowing and many other activities will ensure there is not a dull moment. There are two farms and a coffee house with a cake shop within walking distance. At the harbour in Waase (400 metres away) there is a fish restaurant. The island shop with fresh bakery items (Monday to Saturday) is just 300 metres from the apartment. In spring and in winter thousands of migrating and resting cranes can be observed. The autumn is sea buckthorn time.

    “Im Vorfeld hat uns die Hausbesitzerin angerufen, um einige Fragen zu klären, sehr nett und sympathisch! Die Schlüsselübergabe hat reibungslos geklappt. Als wir in das Haus reingekommen sind, waren wir positiv überrascht, es war viel schöner als auf den Fotos dargestellt. Alles super in Schuss und sauber, wir haben weder ein Haar, noch einen Staubkorn, noch eine Macke gefunden. Betten und Matratzen waren auch sehr gut und sorgten für angenehmen Schlaf.”

    “Die Ferienwohnung war ok, Küche gut ausgestattet alles sehr sauber, Schlafzimmer gute Betten Wohnzimmer bequeme Ledergarnitur, modern eingerichtet Das Gastgeschenk eine Flasche Rotwein kam gut an. Zu bemängeln war allerdings die Beleuchtung im innenliegenden Bad, die erst Montags vom Hausmeister repariert wurde, Anreise war Samstag. Wegen der defekten Beleuchtung vergebe ich nur 4 von 5 Häuschen.”

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich zu empfehlen, sie ist sehr gemütlich und schick eingerichtet und macht alles in allem einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck. So wie das Haus, als auch das gesamte Grundstück. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, vom Haarföhn, über Geschirrspüler, Flat TV und WLAN ist alles da. Und für längere Urlaube sogar eine Waschmaschine. Es fehlte uns an nichts.”
