Granite old barn located in the heart of a small hamlet nestled between Auvergne river and forest. This is the heart of the country of Gevaudan, at 1000 m altitude, on the way of the Saint Jacques de Compostela path. The lovers of the countryside will find here a paradise. Lots of charm and character to this very comfortably restored building. Between nature and traditions, families will enjoy discoveries while staying in a quiet place ... maybe just distracted by the passage of a flock of sheep ! Many marked trails crisscross the surrounding rolling countryside, the most famous one is the Saint Jacques ... Upcoming mountain bike or horse riding, whitewater sports also in turbulent meandering Allier river (canoeing, kayaking, rafting, hydro, hot dog, canyoning ...). Thrill seekers can try, within 50 km: a baptism balloon over the gorges of the Allier, parachute in Chaspuzac, bungee jumping in Monastier, carriage ride in the middle of the bison or the encounter with Wolves of Gerard Ménatory. Generous nature of course, but also many cultural discoveries. Saugues at 4 kms offers the Museum of the Beast of Gevaudan, the English's Tower (remains of the twelfth) and diorama at Saint Benilde. The town of Le Puy en Velay (World Heritage Site) at 45 kms, Paulhac Castle and Fortress of Polignac ... many stories of the past that will complete all visits related to local traditions and ... center of lace time, festival Chaise Dieu, farm visits ...

The house has a large quiet and enclosed garden of 1200 m² pleasantly shaded and planted of trees. Planted of trees and lawned, you can enjoy a beautiful and relaxing space where children can to play safely. The house has a terrace overlooking the village and the hill opposite. There are even available in a small vegetable garden which can be used at discretion.

The 150 m² house is very comfortably furnished for 6 people. Ground floor: large living room over 60 m² with kitchen, living room with granite fireplace and dining area, terrace with garden furniture. First floor: 1 double bedroom, 1 kingsize bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, 1 shower room and separate toilet, mezzanine with reading area.

    “Le numéro de téléphone indiqué par l'agence sur le vouncher n'est pas le bon (heureusement les propriétaires habitent dans le village). Une location qui n'accepte théoriquement pas les chiens contrairement à ce qui est annoncé Positiv: L'accueil des propriétaires, une maison toute équipée, un grand terrain Negativ: Le mobilier de jardin pas très confortable (chaises à changer et manque de transats plus confortables) Restaurant: Le petit chez soi à Saugues - Bar café et restaurant avec un menu unique chaque jour à 16€ environ. Accueil très sympa et les chiens sont acceptés Ausflüge: La cascade de la Beaume - Un magnifique coin à 1h de Saugues”
