This pretty and unique Mediterranean holiday home is the only house situated in the Zarace bay, a few kilometres away from the town of Hvar. From three sides, the house is surrounded by pine trees and its front is facing the lovely pebble beach which basically starts on the house's courtyard. The side terrace with a panoramic view on the bay, away from the commotion of the city, will be the place where guests will spend a lot of time, sipping quality local wines and tasting various sea food dishes, which are the main offer of local restaurants. Enjoy preparing your own meals on the barbeque on the terrace, while watching your kids play by the sea. You can unwind on the beach which is almost a part of the house. The interiors are a mix of modern and rustic style and the façade is made of carved stone. The parking space is positioned ca. 100 m away from the house. The beach in front of it is not private, so especially in the summer months it is available to all visitors, while out of season it is much less visited.

    “positiv: Lage des Hauses, Bucht und Meer sensationell.
    Terrasse schattig bis am Nachmittag - Abendsonne.
    Wenig Besucher am Strand bis Mittag. In der Früh und am Abend so gut wie immer alleine in der Bucht.
    Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung. (Waschmaschine, Geschirrspüler, E-Herd)

    negativ: Leider keine Klimaanlage im 1.Stock somit sind die Schlafräume sehr warm.
    Zufahrt sehr abenteuerlich. Parken ebenfalls sehr schwierig dann viele Stufen bis zum Haus.”

    - Air conditioning was effective ONLY for the downstairs living area and in in hot weather (July 2012) the upstairs sleeping quarters remained at the temperature of outside (30+ degrees) - house should be renovated to address;
    - The house is accessed via a very steep quite long setp of concrete steps with no railing and renters should be warned in case of physical limitations. It is an arduous entry for transit of luggage and groceries from the parking area, which is shared with any that might be accessing the beach;
    - The Barbecue is propane only on the the sideburner requiring purchase of briquettes/lighter fluid etc. for use
    - also, while it is stated that the beach is public, the photos and description do not prepare the renter for the amount of traffic to the smal beach area - so the patio area isdifinately nice.
