Modern accommodation in a residential holiday park with a lovely swimming lake, ideal for hiking, cycle tours or family holidays with your dog


The two holiday apartments are in the holiday park by Silbersee, one of the cleanest swimming lakes in Hessen, on a site of around 1000m². Both apartments are part of a holiday house.

The apartments each have a separate entrance and both provide everything you need for a relaxing and interesting holiday. Cars only have restricted access to the holiday park and there are parking spaces nearby. Please note that the apartments are non-smoking.

You can shop at a little grocery shop next door and in Frielendorf 1.5km away. There are several hiking trails for walking and mountain bike trails for cycling. The Silbersee has two beaches, of which one has a DLRG lifeguard (during the season). There are many other recreational facilities (e.g. wellness paradise, outdoor climbing park, beach volleyball and basketball court, a skating alley, a minigolf course, a summer toboggan run with a big adventure playground, a small animal zoo, quad riding for children, a giant trampoline, the Friloland indoor playground, and a nice beer garden for the parents, all nearby. It is not far to the Knüll animal park, a popular trip destination. It is also worth going on a trip to Homberg, Schwalmstadt, Melsungen, Fritzlar, Borken, Bad Hersfeld, Alsfeld, Rotenburg or Kassel.

Nice House in Feriendorf Silbersee with Outdoor Terrace

The family-friendly and cosy holiday house was completely renovated in 2013 and has an interior of a high standard. It is suitable for four adults and a small child, with a child’s bed available. The house has a cosy living room with a sofa, a big dining corner, satellite TV, a radio with a CD player and a fireplace stove. The fully-equipped kitchen is equipped with a big fridge and freezer, an induction hob and oven, a washing machine with a dryer, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle, toaster, coffee machine. The two bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and a big wardrobe. A shower room with a WC completes your accommodation.



There is a newly designed outdoor terrace with garden furniture and a grill chimney, inviting you to sit and relax.



A first bed linen and towels package is provided, along with a grill charcoal package. A dog is allowed.

    “Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub in einem tollen Haus. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
    Unser Hund hatte mit dem glatten Boden im Haus (Laminat) so seine Probleme. Das ist aber natürlich sehr individuell und soll nicht die Qualität des Hauses schmälern. Das nächste Mal würden wir einfach ein paar Matten mitbringen, die nicht rutschen. Positiv: Sehr gehobene Ausstattung mit allem, was man braucht: Kaffeevollautomat, Fön, Liegen mit Auflagen, Außengrill, Kaminofen u.v.m. Küche und Bad ganz modern. Sogar an Hundebeutel und Wasserschüssel wurde gedacht.
    Überaus gepflegtes Haus in guter Lage (Terrasse und Grill nicht zur Straße) mit großem Garten für unseren Hund.
    Persönliche und überaus herzliche Übergabe durch Besitzer inkl. Begrüßungsgeschenken (Sekt für uns und Leckerlis für den Hund) :-) Restaurant: Restaurant Orth in Lenderscheid - Schöner Biergarten und leckeres, gutbürgerliches Essen zu einem vernünftigen Preis. Ausflüge: Alsfeld und Homberg (Efze) - Tolle mittelalterliche Stadtkerne.”

    “Mit geringen Abstrichen war es ein erholsamer und schöner Urlaub. Positiv: Freundliche Begrüßung der Eigentümer. Sie sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Urlaub fängt direkt mit dem Auspacken der Koffer an. Es war alles wie beschrieben. Tolle Ausstattung und sehr gemütlich. Schönes großes Grundstück. Schöne Gegend, man kann viel wandern und die Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umfeld erkunden. Negativ: An den Feiertagen ist ein hohes Aufkommen an partywütigen Gästen, das trübt das Gesamtbild etwas. Restaurant: Burgbergstube Hohenburg. - Schönes rustikales Umfeld, toll mit einer Wanderung und Ruinenbesichtung zu kombinieren. Ausflüge: Altstadt von Homberg. - Unendlich viele Fachwerkhäuser, toller Altstadtkern. Man kann stundenlang in den Gassen rumschlendern und in Straßencafes pausieren.”
