Nearby Rennes is worth a day trip in order to discover its aristocratic centre with numerous boutiques, department stores, restaurants and brasseries, as well as many lively pubs. Within 40 miles, visit the maritime towns of Dinard, the chic seaside resort, St. Malo and Cancale, with its oyster farms in the Bay of Mont St. Michel. Combourg and Becherel, a lovely village with its cafés and tea rooms are also worth a visit.
