Quiet, cosy, detached holiday house on a slope with a balcony and a terrace, on a slope and with a panoramic view of the valley
The holiday house enjoys a quiet stand-alone location close to a forest.
It is spread over two floors totaling around 120m² with two bathrooms, two bedrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen and a utility room with a washing machine. The lower and upper floors are connected by an internal staircase, which can be locked. Both floors have a separate entrance. The upper floor comprises a living room with a fireplace and a dining corner, a bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, stove, ceramic hob, microwave and vacuum cleaner. There is also a storage room. The lower floor has a second living room with a pull-out double sofa bed. There are also another bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom and the utility room with a washing machine, with use included in the rental price. A portable baby cot is also provided.
The outdoor area has a big balcony and a terrace with seating, deckchairs and a grill. The site of around 800m² is partly fenced. There are two free car parking spaces.
Wieda is a small, quiet locality in an elongated valley at around 375 metres above sea level, surrounded by dense forests with many hiking trails, in the midst of green nature. You can do basic local shopping at a butcher’s with very good own production and a bakery with a café, as well as a bread rolls delivery service. You can do more major shopping in well-known supermarket chains in Walkenried (ca. 4km), Ellrich (ca. 6km) and Bad Sachsa (ca. 7km). There is a local evangelical church with religious services. A public bus service runs through Wieda. The local outdoor and indoor pool is currently being renovated, so instead you can visit the Salztalparadies in Bad Sachsa or the pools in Zorge and Walkenried. There are (forest) hiking trails a five-minute walk away. The house is about 11km from Braunlage, 40km from Goslar and 3km from Wernigerode and the Brocken.
