From the house it is not far to Denmark's widest bathing beach, where you can (sun)bathe, fly kites or simply enjoy nature. Twice a day the width of the beach changes with the tide. A trip to Ribe is a good option, where you can experience the beautiful old town and possibly visit the Viking center.
