    “Es gibt einen größeren Supermarkt am Ort, in dem man alles bekommt. Ansonsten wie überall mehrere kleine Geschäfte. Was leider ganz fehlt ist ein Fischgeschäft, den gibt es auch nicht im Supermarkt.
    Strand war sauber, und Liegestuhl und Sonnenschirm zu vernünftigen Preisen zu mieten. Das dazugehörige Restaurant konnten wir leider nicht mehr testen, es hat am Tag unserer Ankunft geschlossen (10. Sept.).
    Im Ort gibt es noch ein gutes Restaurant, das ganzjährig geöffnet hat und in dem man sowohl Fisch wie auch Fleisch gut bekommt.
    Der Ausflug nach Stilla lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, allein schon wegen der Aussicht.
    Auch Badolato Borgo, oben am Berg ist einen Ausflug wert (auf halber Strecke gibt es ein Restaurant mit schöner Aussichtsterrasse). Auch Cantanzaro und Capo Rizzuto sind einen Ausflug wert.. etwas weiter weg!!”

    “Der Strandabschnitt von Lido Solesi ist klasse, sehr gepflegt und mit einer angenehmen Gastronomie ausgestattet. Der Strand ist Sand, der zum Wasser hin immer etwas steiniger wird. Ein eigenes Auto ist definitiv von Vorteil, dann kann man sich auch die Umgebung ansehen. Ein Supermarkt ist direkt um die Ecke. Man findet in Badolato Marina eigentlich alles, was man zum "überleben" braucht. Wer Action sucht, ist allerdings dort etwas fehl am Platz... Sehr kinderfreundliche Umgebung und auch die Kalabresen sind sehr nett und bemüht.”
