    “Ruhiges kleines Fischerdörfchen, sehr idyllisch!! Man läuft 5 min zu einem kleinen sauberen Strand und 15 min zum nächsten Örtchen. Dort am Hafen befinden sich einige Restaurants.”

    “Ob man den Ort Bocacangrejo mag hängt davon ab, was man möchte. Die Häuser stehen dicht und verwinkelt beieinander. Kleine Treppenwege durchziehen die Häuserschluchten und führen zu den verschiedenen Badebuchten. Man kann dort über Leitern an den Felsen herunter ins Wasser gelangen. Obwohl es dort eine Brandung gibt, ist das Baden für geübte Schwimmer nicht gefährlich. Davon, dass dort Menschen so dicht wohnen, bekommt man nichts mit. Wenn man es ruhig mag, ist man dort richtig. Wenn man auf dem Balkon sitzt, hört man nur die Brandung und nicht irgendwelche Musik aus Lokalen - es gibt dort schlicht keine. Zum Einkaufen muss man in den Nachbarort fahren. Das mögen manche als Nachteil empfinden aber dafür ist es eben ruhig. Wenn man Bocacangrejo Richtung Süden verlässt, schließt sich ein schöner Lava-Sand-Strand und dahinter ein kleiner Park mit Fitness-Geräten an.”
