    “Ein am Wasser langezogener Ort mit vielen Möglichkeiten, baden zu gehen. Es gibt direkt am Meer Parkplätze. Restaurants, Lebensmittelläden und sonstige Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ausreichend vorhanden. Split ist sehr schnell zu erreichen.
    Der Flughafen in Split ist nur wenige Kilometer entfernt, daher muss erwähnt werden, dass die Flugzeuge über dem Ort ziemlich niedrig fliegen. Aber wir haben das als wenig bis gar nicht störend empfunden. Unsere Tochter fand es sogar sehr aufregend, die Flugzeuge so gut sehen zu können.”

    “Kastela Kambelovac ist ein kleines, gemütliches Dorf direkt am Meer. Die Einwohner sind überaus freundlich und sehr angenehm. Wir waren schon eher gegen Saisonende und haben es sehr genossen komplett außerhalb des Massentourismus Urlaub zu machen. Es gibt wunderschöne Strandabschnitte (Kies), Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige tolle Restaurants und Cafes. Ansonsten ist es eher sehr ruhig. Wer also im Urlaub lieber ein bisschen Action mag und durch Einkaufsgassen schlendern möchte, der muss ins ca. 15 min. entfernte Split oder Trogir fahren.”

    “Venues fantastic Kastel Stari is quant and the people once you get to know them are lovely. The sea is clean and beach has pebbles so don't forget your swim shoes. The town is equidistant between Split and Trogir which are lovely and the bus is cheap. You can also take a boat taxi at certain times which is fun. The restaurants have varied tasty food with a Mediterranean leaning however not a great selection for veggies.”
