    “Der Ort Isola Rossa liegt sehr schön und ruhig. Es gibt einige kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten - genug um sich ausreichend zu versorgen. Der Bäcker (Panificio) hat allerdings ab Anfang September geschlossen. Die Fischgeschäfte bieten frischen Fisch und Meeresfrüchte an. Restaurants und Cafés gibt es direkt an der Uferpromenade.”

    “Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Im Dorf selber gibt es mehrere kleine Einkaufsläden, zwei Fischläden, ein Metzger etc. Etwa 5 Km entfernt gibt es 2 grössere Supermercados...(Badesi) nicht unbedingt besser und günstiger als die Läden im Dorf. Es gibt ebenfalls genügend Möglichkeiten für Tagesausflüge ( siehe Reiseführer) und das Sportangebot in der Gegend ist riesig: Wanderwege, Spazierwege, Buchten, am Strand Pedalo, Surf, Wellenreiten, Kanu sind möglich. Das beste Restaurant im Dorf ist das Crocodilus - auch mit Nachtprogramm. Das Dorf ist zu Fuss in 20 Min erreichbar - wunderschön Nachts, aber nur mit Taschenlampe empfohlen.”
