    “Die Insel bietet alles, um zu entspannen, in der Sonne zu liegen, baden zu gehen oder zu einer alten Kirche oder der Burgruine zu spazieren. Der Ort ist winzig. Bars, Restaurants etc. sind dennoch reichlich vorhanden, die Preise sind niedriger als in Dubrovnik aber deutlich höher als in der Gegend um Split. Einkaufen kann man auf Lopud Souvenirs, sonst so gut wie gar nichts. Der Tante-Emma-Laden hat ein sehr beschränktes Angebot, da es jedoch die einzige Möglichkeit ist, überhaupt etwas zu bekommen, sind die Preise sehr hoch - Marktwirtschaft eben. Wer nicht auf jeden Kuna achten muss, wird sich gut aufgehoben fühlen.”
