    “Mandello del Lario ist ein Typisch gewachsener Ort am Comer See. Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in die Bergwelt des Grigna. Vom Schiffsanlager in Mandello erreicht man mit dem Boot auch sehr gut die Orte Bellagio und Como. Mandello hat einen eigenen Bahnhof.

    Enge, jahrhunderte Jahre alte Gassen, sehr ursprünglich und historisch prägen das Ortsbild. Es gibt eine ausreichende Anzahl an Cafe's und Restaurants mit typisch italienischer Küche. Mandello verfügt über einen kleinen Park und einen kleinen Strand.

    Mandello ist seit 1921 Sitz von Moto Guzzi. Das Museum ist täglich eine Stunde geöffnet.
    Erwähnenswert ist noch die Wallfahrtkapelle "Madonna del Fiume".”

    “Er zijn prima supermarkten in de buurt waar je ook lekkere broodjes voor het ontbijt kunt halen. In Mandello del Lario zijn weinig toeristen dus je zit met de lokale bewoners op het strand wat wij erg leuk vonden.”
