    “In Markoci selbst gibt es nichts. Es sind insgesamt nur gute 10 Häuser (davon 3 Ferienhäuser). Die nächst größere Stadt ist Labin und dann vor allem Rabac. In Labin sind sämtliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vorhanden. Es hat eine sehr schöne alte Festung. Für die Strandaktivitäten muss man nach Rabac fahren. Hier ist alles vorhanden. Es gibt sehr schöne Kiesstrände (mit einfachem Einstieg ins Meer), einen "öffentlichen" Camping-Platz und viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Hier noch ein Tip: Es wird empfohlen, sich Strandschuhe zu besorgen (dies erleichtert das Laufen auf Fels und Kies ungemein).”

    “Der Ferienort ist sehr abgelegen, das wussten wir vorher. Wer die Ruhe möchte und mit dem ersten Hahnenschrei geweckt werden will ist dort genau richtig. In der Umgebung kann man lecker essen. Im Ort ist man herzlich willkommen, jedoch mit dem Auto ist alles kein Problem. Supermarkt hat täglich bis 23.00 Uhr offen.”
