    “In Minsen haben wir uns kaum aufgehalten. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in Horumersiel. Minsen selbst hat zwei Restaurants und in Schillig und Horumersiel gibt es auch viele weitere. Das Freizeitangebot war sogar im Winter sehr gut. In Horumersiel gibt es auch ein Haus des Gastes mit vielen Ideen für die Gestaltung der Freizeit. In Wilhelmshaven(ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Auto) gibt es auch viele Museen für schlecht-Wetter Tage). Auch der Fährhafen in Harlesiel ist nicht weit entfernt. Von dort kann man nach Wangeroge fahren, welche auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert ist.”
