    “Modica -przepiękne, barokowe miasto, polożone na brzegach kanionu, zniszczone podczas trzęsienia ziemi w roku 1693, później odbudowane z przepięknymi wąskimi uliczkami wzdłuż których znajdują się klimatyczne budynki, liczne kościoły i zabytki.
    Dom położony jest ok 4- 4,5 km od centrum starego miasta, krajobraz wokół domu jak na sycylijskiej wsi z licznymi plotkami kamiennymi, oddzielającym poletka. Doskonała okazja do podziwiania przepięknych krajobrazów w drodze do miasta wąskimi urokliwymi drogami na wieczorne spacery (samochód niezbędny)
    Liczne kafejki z lokalnymi przysmakami i fantastyczna kawą i lodami dodawały sił do dalszych wędrówek i odkrywania coraz piękniejszych miejsc i zakamarków tego niezwykłego miasta.
    Bardzo dobra lokalizacja na wypady do okolicznych, również barokowych i niezwykle urokliwych miejscowości jak Ragusa, Noto czy najpiękniejsza i najbardziej atrakcyjna chociażby ze względu na lipcowy festiwal filmowy Syrakuzy.
