    “Der Ort selbst bietet nicht sonderlich viel. Herauszuheben ist Pippo mit seiner Pizzeria oben im Dorf, eine Kirche leistet den nötigen geistigen Beistand, eine Bar den weltlichen. Die Nahversorgung ist, sagen wir es vorsichtig, überschaubar, der im Ort vorhandene Strandzugang ebenfalls. Das soll aber nicht darüber hinweg täuschen, dass die weitere Umgebung absolut zauberhaft ist, niedliche Küstenorte, tolle Badestrände, gewundene Bergstraßen, die Amalfiküste, Salerno, Vilea, Paestum und Pompei, man kommt mit der Auflistung an Highlights kaum zu einem Ende. Ein Auto ist definitiv alternativlos, außer, Sie wollten schon immer in Ruhe ein Buch schreiben.”

    “Montecorice ist ein sehr kleiner Ort mit steilen Straßen, einem tollen Fußballplatz, kleinen Bars und Pizzerias. Außerhalb der Saison ein verschlafenes, aber nettes Dorf mit hilfsbereiten Menschen.
    Supermarkt, Strände und Gastronomie findet man genügend im Umkreis von 10km- ohne Auto allerdings nicht zu empfehlen.
    Unbedingt besuchen sollte man Pompeii und den Vesuv sowie die schönen Strände in Richtung Salerno- hier bietet sich die 'Litoranea' , die Küstenstraße, an.”
