“Die Umgebung in Nurmes ist für Reisende die Ruhe suchen und gerne Wildtiere beobachten oder wandern möchten optimal. Für Fischer und Fischerinnen sehr geeignet. Auch für Ruderbootfahrer ist der See ein Paradies. Die Wälder und der See zaubern wunderbare Bilder. Wer gerne Abwechslung und lebhafte Geschehnisse bevorzugt ist Nurmes eher ungeeignet.
Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nur mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wer gerne gut in Restaurants essen möchte, findet diese nicht so schnell.”
