    “Pachino selbst hat an Sehenswürdigkeiten nicht viel zu bieten. Es gibt auf dem zentralen Platz (bei der Kirche) viele Bars und Restaurants. Einen Supermarkt gibt es auf dem Weg von der Ferienwohnung. Besonders problematisch war, dass in Pachino und drumherum (auch in dem Bereich der Ferienwohnung) keine Müllabfuhr vorhanden war, sodass der Müll willkürlich auf die Straßenränder geworfen wurde, was sehr unschön war und uns zwang, den Müll auf Ausflügen im Auto mitzunehmen und nach Entsorgungsmöglichkeiten zu suchen. Um Pachino und das Ferienhaus werden Tomaten in Plastikgewächshäusern angebaut. Diese bestimmen den Eindruck der Landschaft, die ansonsten traumhaft ist (Meer, Strand...).”
