    “Zum Örtchen Ramsau selbst kann ich nicht wirklich viel sagen, da wir, außer zum Einkaufen, nicht wirklich im Ort waren.
    Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Banken, Cafés etc. sind ausreichend vorhanden. Man sollte die Einkäufe, bzw. die Abfahrt ins Tal aber gut planen, immerhin bezahlt man jedesmal 14,- € / Auto für das Benutzen der "Dachsteinstraße" (Mautstraße).
    Kleiner Tipp: wer sich für ca. 40 € die Gondelfahrt mit der Dachsteinbahn "gönnt", kann dort die Mautkarte entwerten lassen und spart damit immerhin 1x die 14 €.”

    “Die, mit aktuell 14 Euro pro Auto, recht üppige Maut, war, wenn man die vielen Wanderwege und Ausflugsziele der näheren Gegend nutzt (da muss man nicht durch die Mautstelle fahren) auch kein Problem. Wir sind oft zu Fuß in den Ort gelaufen (45min.). Die im Gelände gelegenen Almhütten (mit super leckerem Käseangebot) sind sowohl von der Lage als auch dem freundlichen Personal sehr empfehlenswert. Leider gibt es im Ort keine Restaurants, die nach 20:00 noch eine offene Küche haben. Aber wenn man das weiß, kann man sich einrichten. Im Ort gibt es zwei Supermärkte mit sehr vielen regionalen Produkten.”
