    “In Schalkau kann man außer Wandern nicht viel unternehmen. Dafür ist es sehr ruhig. Positiv zu bemerken ist der Bahnanschluss. Im benachbarten Sonneberg ist das Spielzeugmuseum und etwas mehr "Leben".”
