    “Der nächste Ort ist Vernoux; hier gibt es einen grossen Supermarkt (geöffnet Mo-Sa, Mittagspause!) mit Tankstelle, einen kleinen Supermarkt ("Casino"), der auch am Sonntag geöffnet hat, mehrere Bäckereien, Metzgereien, Obst- und Gemüseläden, Tabakläden, Frisör, Apotheke, Post, Kino, einige Pizzerien und Bars, mindestes ein kleines aber feines Restaurant (Menü für Euro 29), ein Weingeschäft, u.v.m. Es gibt kein Nachtleben (Disco o.ä.), montags haben einige Läden geschlossen. Wochenmarkt am Donnerstag. Ein Badesee existiert in Vernoux (mit Minigolf), der hat uns allerdings nicht zugesagt, die Bademöglichkeiten in Labatie-d'Andaure (Nähe Lamastre / Desaignes) (Badestelle am Fluss, in der Nähe gibt es einen sehr schönen Forellenteich zum Angeln) und Les Ollieres-sur-Eyrieux (Badestelle am Fluss Eyrieux, Möglichkeit zum Kanufahren "AquaRock") haben uns (2 Erw., 2 Kinder) sehr gut gefallen.”
