    “Er zijn twee kleinere supermarktjes in het dorp waar je je eerste levensbehoeften goed aan kunt schaffen. Recht onder de studio is een bar/café waar de lokale bevolking elkaar treft en waar het heerlijk koffiedrinken is 's morgens. Je wordt er erg hartelijk ontvangen. Er is ook een aantal restaurants, maar daar kunnen wij geen mening over geven, omdat we daar geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt. Wel is het dorp de starplaats voor een prachtige wandeling van 6 á 8 uur naar het zogenaamde maanlandschap. Een bizarre speling der natuur. Het is bovendien een goed startpunt voor dagtripjes b.v. richting de Teide, waar ook weer mooie wandelingen kunt maken.”
