    “Boodschappen kun je doen in het dorp, in een van de twee dorpswinkeltjes. Ook is er een tal aan grotere winkels op een afstand van zo'n 20 kilometer. Je zit vlakbij de kust, in een rustig gebied. Geen massatoerisme in Kostanje. Dat is in de dorpjes aan de kust wel anders. Er zijn veel mooie plekjes te bezichtigen in de omgeving. Je dient dan soms wel van het asfalt af te wijken. De stranden zijn goed toegankelijk en de mensen erg vriendelijk.”

    “Kostanje is een klein bergdorpje waar niet veel te beleven valt. Het ligt half in een dal waar ook de rivier Centina doorheen stroomt. Een hele goede uitval basis voor heel veel activiteiten in de buurt.

    Split ligt op een half uurtje rijden met het oude centrum en wandelgebied Marjan Hill met een mooi uitzicht over de stad en de haven.

    Het kleine kuststadje Omis ligt op 20 minuten rijden waar je mooie zandstranden vind voor kinderen. Brela en Baska Voda ligt op 20 minuten waar de Adriatische kust op zijn mooist is.

    Op de rivier Centina kunnen vanaf Omis vaartochten ondernomen worden. Ook kan er geraft en gezwommen worden op verschillende plekken.

    In de buurt zijn er diverse klimmogelijkheden.”

    “Only 25 min. to Omis and 45 min. to Split. Omis has a nice sandy beach. Lovely untouched nature all around. Good area for cycling and going for a run. Prices for eating out were 25-30% lower than in Denmark.”
